After a minute of nothing but hearing the wind blow past his ears, the bike's engine, and Rust's hums, he finally felt his organs go back to how they were meant to. The bike slowed to a halt and the engine stopped running. Tesla felt Rust start to get off the bike, which to him was a signal to open his eyes. Before he even got a chance to register what was happening, he felt Rust slam his hand on his face.
“Wha- Rust!” Tesla grabbed his hand, trying to move it.
“Hold on! You’ll spoil it for yourself, close your eyes, and let me lead you. Today seemed like the day Rust turned on his charm because Tesla, despite himself, did what Rust asked. He felt Rust take his hand off his face, then felt Rust's hand take his own, feeling himself flush under his mask. As Rust softly led him off the bike,one hand on his back. Rust led them forward, carefully making sure to watch where they stepped.
“Okay, here we are, go ahead and open your eyes.”

Midoriya Hisashi cries tears of relief when a 5 year old Izuku looks him in the eyes and tells him:

Then, he forces his son to swear that he'll survive - to care for Inko, if nothing else - and it's a demand that Izuku is too young to understand and all too eager to accept.Midoriya Hisashi is 29 years old when he dies the next morning; killed by his own quirk.
It takes 5 more years for Izuku to begin to regret making that promise, and only 3 more after that for a girl, older than him, and with much sharper canines, to ask him if it's worth it: to live a life of suffering in the name of an exhausted mother and a dead man.
Apparently, he gives the wrong answer, as Himiko Toga laughs in his face, and tells him it absolutely isn't- and they exchange contacts.So, Izuku is 13 years old when he blackmails the staff of Aldera Middle, and Katsuki, for his own peace of mind, and decides:
