The Director sighed, “Typically that’d be correct. But his senior field agent McGee is having some doubts. Gibbs thought you two would be of service while also bringing the team up to the members it needs for this case.”
Randy’s brows furrowed, Gibbs had mentioned McGee when he came for his impromptu visit, “Gibbs told me about him, wife, young twins… Being a team lead is not only a hard job, but dangerous, I’d understand why he’d be hesitant with two young ones at home.” he glanced at Mildred then looked back to Vance, “We both have family, we know from experience.”
“Which is exactly why you’re the perfect two for the job, just to warn you though, these agents aren’t good with change, they're probably not going to be thrilled at first.” Randy nods he was expecting that Gibbs had been working in DC for decades he could only imagine how loyal that team was to him.

She's half on him, an arm around his stomach, her legs curled up. He lifts his sleeping legs, doesn't move.Or Gibbs & Lala fall into something like friendship, then fall further.

“Well, I was on my way out when this stranger came walkin in lookin lost, Mom will understand why I’m late when I explain it.” Agent Wilson spoke with a smirk to her boss. That’s when Randy finally looked up from his phone, he had been texting on to see him.
He took a double take then turned back to his agent, “You may want to get a picture of this, or your mom is going to think you’re making excuses… again.” He then turns back to Gibbs, “It’s been way too long Probie.” it was spoken with a slight smile and teasing tone.
“Good to see you too Rando,” he smirks, which earns him an eye roll from the slightly younger man. “I see you’ve got a team of your own now.” he said motioning to Agent Wilson.

She then called over to Mary Joe, “I’m talking to Frank’s Probie, he gets upset, tell him to bite me!” her voice was firm once again making it clear that she did not like Mike despite being his partner at one point. Then, without another word she storms towards her office just expecting him to follow behind.

Four protection details in nearly just as many months. I understand, but this is getting ridiculous! He raised his head up to look at Junie, giving a soft lick to her hand. “He’s coming to pick you up,” she continued, grabbing the dog’s collar and leash from the hanger to get him ready for the case
Of course, his owner was requesting him, Courage had been trained for protection, but he had the most important protection detail right here. His tail droops as he turns back to his baby, and glances back to his owner’s wife You’re my greatest protection detail. If only Randy could get over his regrets and think the same way.
Or Gibbs meet Randy's dog, Courage.
