Mariko Tachibana is a shrine maiden who is fascinated by monsters, mainly because she recalls a vivid dream where she met a walking eyeball and a polka-dotted beast that helped her overcome her fear of a reptilian monster. One night, she finds herself back in their world to learn that it was never a dream, and that her monster friends were real all along. She quickly learns that the monsters have summoned her to their world once more because they need her to investigate a case.
There is a door that leads to a girl with a high laugh power potential, but every time monsters go through it, they are ambushed by mysterious attackers. It is also believed that this girl may be a supreme monster goddess trapped in human form, and that these attackers are closely guarding her. As a human, only Mariko can safely investigate the situation.
The girl's name: Riley Andersen.
Will Mariko uncover the secret of this unapproachable girl and the attackers protecting her?

Set before the events of Polar Opposite and Matched Ambitions, this story tells Gale and Astarion, still in doctoral school in Blackstaff University, trying to finish their dissertation proposal in the heat of Flamerule summer. Gale decided to ask for Astarion's help in reviewing his draft, to which Astarion gladly help with some bribery. They also learned a bit about each other.

It's been over 20 years since Tav and her companions defeated the Netherbrain. With the Crown of Karsus, Tav and Raphael have dominated the Hells and turned their attention toward the Heavens, just like he promised her.
But their daughter, Quell, doesn't care about dominating the realms. She just wants to play music. She has finally graduated from Alfira's School for Bards, just in time for her 22nd birthday. A night of drinking with her cousins leads her to waking up in an unfamiliar bed with an unfamiliar (but very handsome) vampire spawn. He's not like anyone she's met before and something about him stirs her heart.
She won't have much time to think about love though, not when her mother gets taken by a group of Avorals to Elysium, a realm Raphael, as a devil, can't enter. But as part Avoral, Quell can. She'll have to take up her blades once more to save her mother's life, with the help of her cousins and maybe a charming vampire.
