Summary
Nezu has always believed in the power of a proper education. He has said many times throughout his hero career that all villainy stems from desperation—that, should someone have gotten the proper help they deserve, they would have never been pushed to commit crime. The fact he cannot save all of the would-be heroes eats at him some nights. As a principal, there's only so much he can do to influence the lives of children for good. There will always be that one child that slips through the cracks.
Eventually, Nezu gave into his desire to help would-be villains. He created a program, got it approved by the hero directory board, and built an entire building with his own funding just to house the children in his care. He would make a larger impact than simply teaching the next generation—he wanted to solve villainy at its source.
So, with all of the preparations ready, the logical next step is to find children in need of help.
The only catch with the board was that he doesn't get to choose which ones.

It made Geoffrey even more paranoid in knowing one of the Guard of Priwen’s own estates had become the nest of a bunch of bloody leeches, what information had they discovered in those lost archives? What weapons and relics were hidden away by Kendall Stone and Carl Eldritch that were now in those bastard’s filthy clutches? This was a fight they were outnumbered for as the ruins shuddered with the force of blood spears and the explosions of shadows striking too close for comfort.

When he plucks a rose for Morgana as it is all she asked for, a beast emerges and demands his life as payment for the life of the rose. Her father pleads for mercy on behalf of his daughters and why he took it. The beast lets him go under the condition that either he returns, or his daughter who asked for the rose. Hearing of what befell her father, Morgana leaves for the beasts castle against her father's wishes. When she arrives she not only finds the beast and his castle, but learns of the curse put upon it that only she can break. The problem is what it demands may be too much for her... and if she does how will she ever come into her own magic?
