“We’d make paper lights, like stars in the night sky, wrap them around the tree like a nice, warm blanket,” she told her daughter, miming stringing up the paper decorations in the branches, then making what Peter calls ‘itsy-bitsy spider fingers’, mimicking the lights falling into place like a shimmering of dusting and snow, till the tree was covered and beautiful.
The stars on her tree looked settled in her memory, like they were meant to be there, making their home on the branches and finally coming to a rest. The paper stars were white and bright, jumping out and yet holding onto the dark, midnight leaves, making everything look so complete. The paper stars in her memory. They tied everything together.
“Hey, that sounds kinda like Christmas,” Peter noted without really thinking. He didn’t mean to interrupt, but it just kinda slipped out.

Summary
Near the end of Book/Season three, we find Marcos, the warrior who did not want to fight against Xadia, fighting Viren's fire warriors. After the battle, he rests a while nursing his hurt leg, when a pretty Sunfire elf named Sabah comes up to him, compliments him on his fighting, and supports him on his way to the medics.
Soon, all the armies will return home, so if he wants to see her, and thank her properly for her help, now is the time.

This year, Chuseok and the Mid-Autumn Festival have fallen on the same day (Sep. 10th, 2022). To celebrate these especially since they highlight 2 of my favorite characters, I decided to make a special short fic about Jett and Sage celebrating together. This has all been done in one sitting and my eyes are SO tired, but it is certainly amazing to have completed it.

Seawatt does not look behind him, when the champion drags himself finally towards the kitchen.
"Bro, what are you doing?" Evbo asks, and the sound of his clueless voice has Seawatt gripping his mother's knife even tighter within his fingers. He rolls his eyes, despite the fact that Evbo cannot see it, with how his back faces the doorway and him.
“What does it look like I’m doing? I’m cooking.” he retorts curtly, before he grits his teeth on a particularly thick ligament, pushing down the metal blade till it has cut right through with a dull thud.
Evbo’s response is wordless noise, something of confusion that sounds entirely stupid, before he then starts again with a curious tone. “That doesn’t look like cooking. Why are you cutting it up?”
Seawatt pauses in his sawing motions. Closes his eyes. Resists the urge to bury his face in his currently blood-soaked hands.
Parkour give me patience, he begs internally, hopelessly.
Or: Seawatt and Evbo both come from places of hunger. Evbo does not know what to do with himself, now that his appetite has consumed him entirely and left him with nothing else. What to do, when Seawatt has ruined that part of him too.
