Summary
First rule of space travel - Don't be a moron.
Enough said. Millions of years ago space travel was but a dream and soon became something only astronauts did- but today it was as simple as catching a car ride. Earth had many spaceships both for commercial travel and government use. Earth's military was a force to be reckoned with despite the fact that they were a few thousand years technologically behind most alien species. Once alien life was confirmed, many things in Earths history could be explained away by alien interference, especially angels and God himself. It was believed that they were aliens who once visited Earth in the early stages and left behind a religious impact.
That sort of thing wasn't something Dean Winchester, captain of the Impala, often thought about. He was focused on protecting humanity and keeping Earth strong and ahead. Nobody ever got in his way. He wanted to make Earth proud. Make his father proud, even if he hated his guts.
'The Supermassive' was the name of a forbidden area of space where a large black hole lie. Upon passing it one day, seeing a pair of wings sprout and being forced out of The Supermassive, the thought of angels came back to him.
