Summary
A tip from a fellow hunter leads Sue Numan, a 22-year old hunter with supernatural empathic abilities, to a small town with an old legend about the dead rising at midnight every hundred years. Since her regular hunting buddy is tied up somewhere else, she decides to call John Winchester, the man who saved her life many years ago, for backup. When the call connects it's not John who answers, but his son Dean.
What begins as a single hunt turns into a long road shared, as Sue joins the brothers in their search for John Winchester and sticks around after he's found. Despite telling herself that she's immune to Dean Winchester's charms at first, she finds herself developing feelings for him over time.
This is an OC/Dean story that will (eventually) span all fifteen seasons. I’ll be diverging from canon where it makes sense, but I’m doing my best to stay true to the overall storyline. It's a slow burn, so sit back and enjoy the ride.

During the year of Sam’s death Dean didn’t go to Lisa, no, instead he went to the one place he has ever felt more than just a weapon. Camp half-blood. His home when he was moving around, the only place he could train and it didn’t feel like a chore. He hasn’t really been to camp though, only when he was in the area and was able to get away to visit but he had been there enough that he had a weapon. A sword in a bracelet around his wrist. Camp wasn’t just a safe haven, but also his first home.
