They go quiet, after that. They both have storms in their minds. But, as they were and have always been, they’d keep the actual storm out of their conversation. Kojiro only addressed the storm his feelings would have caused, when they had already passed. And, after everything, Kaoru’s could in no way be the same they were years ago.
