After all, while the people of Metropolis had Superman, everyone knew of Batman, and a vigilante not working with him seemed interesting.
At least, that’s what Perry told his college intern. And her mentor Clark Kent when he raised concerns.
No one told her that the vigilante was intimidatingly attractive. Or that Crime Alley was the worse place in Gotham City. Or that her mentor would ask a friend to keep tabs on her. Or that the detective she’s staying with hates Batman despite working with him frequently. Or that the detectives neighbor was a really cute guy.
