Summary
In the wake of restoring balance between his world and Jeong Tae-eul's, Lee Gon has spent every possible moment seeking the door that will finally lead him back to her. He never considered the possibility that others might be able to access the place between worlds until he encounters Lee Eun-ju. She looks like his cousin Se-jin, but this version knows a rifle better than a scalpel and a field report better than a case study. “I mean, get your ass back down there and sleep, or you’ll never step foot out here till your brain is butter, or they dump your ashes in the ocean,” Mansk hisses. His ears flatten involuntarily. The chivalry is gone from his tone, and the warning finally clicks in Spider’s mind. He notices the rifle cradled patiently in Mansk’s arms for the first time.
He’s being offered a second chance.
“Why would I trust you?” Spider counters. Mansk shrugs.
“You shouldn’t. You start trusting people out here, people you think you know, then it all goes to shit.” There’s something else behind his words that Spider doesn’t quite understand.
Spider has to fight to keep his head above water for fear of losing himself. Hundreds of miles away, Lo'ak wrestles with the guilt of being forced to run.

They did not think of what it meant, to immerse him in the violent honor of survival of the fittest. They did not think of the consequences.
Obi-Wan integrates. The result is beyond what the Mandalorians could have predicted.
