Summary
Four is no stranger to being possessed. This does not worry him - any part of him - much at all.
Oh, right, and of course he hasn't told anyone he has experience in this.
Everyone's entitled to their secrets and Four is far from the exception. Besides, it's not like this particular secret (it's not even really a secret, more of an omission that he never had reason to mention) is ever going to be relevant, right?
Except. One of his travelling companions on this new adventure turns out to have a rather familiar ability.
OR: Four, before he was Four, learned much of his swordsmanship skills (beyond the basics) on the fly during his first quest. With time of the essence, some dubiously moral corners were cut in order for him to learn those skills quickly. A certain melody from one of his new brothers-by-soul reminds him of that.
OR: I don't think enough people are talking about the fact that in Minish Cap, Link learns the spin attack, dash attack, etc. by getting possessed, even if it is momentarily. I have Thoughts on this.

So here’s the dealio.
Once upon a time a group of time travelling weirdos gave 10 year olds Link and Zelda a shadow crystal thingy so that Shadow’s future Heroic Sacrifice™ might be a little less… sacrificial.
And it was great! For like, more than a decade they all got to grow up together all alive and happy! But things fall apart as they do, and Link died, and some time loop scheme Shadow honestly wasn’t paying that much attention to (he tried, okay?) has been enacted.
Now Shadow’s joined the time travelling weirdos, and one of them is a Link who’s years younger than his who never managed to save his Shadow.
Things are messy. Things are stressy.
But they have a time loop to close to save Shadow and maybe to save Link, and whatever.
He’ll wing it.
What could go wrong?

"You are a perculiar creature. Something, unlike my eyes have seen", Elderbug said. Link already knew that since he was to different kingdom, his apperance would stick like a sore thumb. The Seer and Iselda had been proof of that.
"I am not from this kingdom" said Link. "I came to explore". "Explore", was a strong word. He didn't have much of a choise.
"Yeah", agreed Elderbug. "My eyes have see a lot of bugs venture into the well over town. But none of them have return, expect the bug that had accompanied you".
Well, that sound reassuring. The Seer, had informed Link about what The Randiance did to bugs in this kingdom, but he had yet see it himself.
The same thing, she had tried to do to him.
(Or Link, before being known as Four in the chain, went into a grand adventure under his Hyrule, growing familair with the kingdom plague by an infection, metting the kingdom's residents and a new adventure awaits him.)

Summary
At the end of their adventure, the four heroes of the Four Sword must become one yet again. Unexpectedly, though their bodies became one, their minds remained separate. With sadness in their hearts over Shadow's sacrifice, they (primarily Vio) research ways to bring him back. They manage to bring him back, and they live a normal life together for awhile. That is until a portal brings them on another adventure with many other "Links" from across time.
It was very concerning for the colors when suddenly, while walking with the chain, Shadow states, "something's wrong." before disappearing from their now shared body. It was even more concerning for the rest of the chain when Four collapsed to the ground a moment later, completely unresponsive.
Where Shadow ended up though was definitely not what anyone could have expected. He appeared in a group of people who all claimed they were in a romantic relationship with a Link. Now, with no other known objectives, they have to search for the chain as they continue traveling through different portals across time.

Summary
He was quick to notice a change in Four's behavior. While they did prefer to sit alone on most occasions, it wasn't like Four to start… Panicking like that.
It was out of thin air, from one moment to another. Sky knew they were trapped in their own thoughts. And Four needed to get out. Now.
Four shuddered an exhale, shoulders slumping down from the great effort it took. "You're safe. You're okay." He reassured.
"'m know." Four muttered behind their hand. Sky internally took note of the way their fingers found their way into Four's mouth.

"Yes! I personally couldn't believe it either." Warriors pressed his hand to his chest in feigned shock. "I-It really does hurt seeing such- Such hatred between us all!"
Warriors even managed to get a single tear roll down his face.
This might just be his best performance yet.
