Wilbur was still reeling from it. Even though they had independence now, even though Eret was proven wrong, those words still echoed in his mind. It was never meant to be.
Wilbur had to admit, it was a powerful line. He almost wanted to respect Eret for using such a good line.

When the sliding doors closed behind him, the train departing with a cruel screech, Ghostbur hadn’t expected there to be other people there on the platform with him. Instead of silence and solitude and years of longing, he was met with…
“Eret?” he whispered cautiously, wiping the blue tears from his face.
“You must be Ghostbur,” they said, calm as the breeze. “Welcome to Limbo.”
Turns out, Limbo’s a bustling city of the dead, and Ghostbur has the ability to come back to life (kind of). Together, with a beautiful and perfect blue sheep who he loves very much and also Quackity, they embark on a quest to rid every world of tragedy.
