Cody blew out a breath and stepped far enough away from the office door to not be heard but so he could still keep an eye on Fox. He gently clapped Wolffe on the back to try and offer what support he could. If Cody’s best friend and brother he couldn’t live without was Rex, Wolffe’s was Fox. And seeing his vod’ika like that was hard.

However, his new Arkanian roommates have secrets of their own, and as his curiosity gets the better of him, Thire finds himself embroiled in a revenge plot to take down the leaders of one of Coruscant’s most cruel crime gangs.

So the context is after the war au. Fox is in an interview with Vokara Che and a Jedi who specializes in memory recovery to help them find out wtf went on in the Guard. The Jedi pushes too hard a la their days are darker and Fox is thrown into a memory of being tortured by the Chancellor. Che goes and gets backup (Thire).

They had been together for as long as they could both remember, both were the at the top of their classes, and had a friendly rivalry during sparring matches. The Kaminoans objected to this and interfered, causing their relationship to deteriorate over the years.
