Amidst the chaos of… well, everything, a day on Outset Island was nothing short of a vacation for the group. For Wind especially, it was a rare taste of home, having spent so much time out at sea- even before all the time travel and black-blooded monsters. His only contact with his hometown for months was the occasional letters from his sister, which he treasured deeply of course, keeping each one carefully stashed away in his belongings, but written words paled in comparison to the feeling of actually being home.

Having a rare moment of respite in the form of Outset Island, everyone seems to be more than content to enjoy the temporary vacation. Legend, however, has something else on his mind.

The swirling vortex looked ominous as black and purple battled each other, dancing around each other, somehow avoiding colliding into each other as each raced toward the vortex's center.
Link's foot slid back across the floor in what little defiance he could muster. Just sliding his foot back had taken too much strength, too much energy he didn't have. He couldn't even pull his foot up from the tiled floor or else he'd lose more than just his footing from the winds that only affected him, the winds that tugged and pulled at his clothes and hair, pushing and pulling him toward the portal, getting harsher with each second, he spent digging his heels in to make it that much harder to pull him through.
"I-I changed my mind! I-I d-don't want to go." He begged, eyes pleading as they landed on Warriors.
"I'm sorry, Link. You don't have a choice. Your fate was sealed the moment the Shadow sunk his claws into you and ripped out your Dark."
"This isn't fair!"
"I know it's not. The lives we Heroes live is never fair. If you don't go willingly, it will pull you through one way or another. Step forward and the demanding winds will end, and you'll be able to say your goodbyes."

But peace never lasts long for the hero of the Wilds and his rest comes to an abrupt and unpleasant end in the form of eight apparently lost travellers.
OR: A blind wild au, in which friendships are forged and its Wilds turn to be grumpy.

Summary
Wild didn’t consider himself a very responsible person when it came to stuff like this, usually being the one to start and/or encourage mischief within the group, but it was moments like this that he felt a pang of sympathy for someone like Twilight, who was constantly worrying over him and the others. If he had to pretend to be a real adult for a day to deal with people as roguish as Hyrule or (gods forbid) himself, he was going to die an early death. Again.
But apparently Wind was trying to kill him, at the moment. This fourteen year old child was going to be the cause of Wild’s second death, all because the kid had decided it would be really funny to get into an actual bar fight over some random bottle of spirits. At age fourteen.
