Connor gets hit with two losses close together, and he spirals into depression. What happens when a deviant mind meets a machine mind? This story is about grief and taking each day one step at a time. Sometimes while we are at our lowest is when others take advantage. Connor learns that some humans still think androids are just machines. While grieving, his hope is dashed. Part of his soul is killed, dashed like glass on the ground.
RK900 called 'Nines', Gavin, and Markus start working together to help Connor to heal.
What they find chills them to their core, but they need to be there for their friend, even if they want to take revenge for him.
While searching the Cyberlife Tower, Markus finds the RK800-60 in the lowest basement with a bullet in his processor and works to bring Sixty back to life. He calls in Nines and Connor to help. On top of finding empty shells of the RK800 from 53-59 and figuring out what to do with them.

And with that he was off, disappearing around the corner at the back end of the aisle. Connor shook his head, letting out an amused snort.
”Excuse me…”
The woman who’d been startled by Hank’s outburst had pushed her card up to Connor’s and put a hand on his arm, making him turn around again.
”Who exactly are you?”
Connor blinked, puzzled by the question, and stood up straighter. “I’m… my name is Connor, why are you asking?”
”Are you his android?”Or: Hank and Connor have an unfortunate altercation at the grocery store. Luckily they have each other to turn to.

It was a thought out decision, with its pros and cons, but it still didn't mean Hank liked the choice to buy an android to look after his son and home. It was Cole's decision to purchase the one that was due to be deactivated; a smaller and odd looking android with brown, doe eyes.
But, perhaps having a repurposed police android to look after Cole was not a terrible idea, even if 'Connor's' mannerisms left much to be desired. -
