He looks up at her as her hands perch along his broad shoulders, fingers catching on the careful stitching of his cotton shirt, black leather doublet abandoned in his chambers. “But things are different now.” She near whispers, a thumb brushing against the exposed skin of his neck that shudders under her touch. “I, your Lady-Wife, and you, my Lord-Husband.”
He swallows again and looks down at the white of her shift. It is a lithe, little thing made of cotton and sewn carefully together by Sansa’s own hand. It flows about her figure like river water, only catching on her hips as Jon’s cautious hands come to lay atop them, and soft fabric ripples between his fingertips.
“What a terrible predicament.” He almost tries to joke, but by the careful way Sansa’s eyes linger on his mouth, he can feel the words ring false.
“Indeed.” She nods, leaning a little further into him.

After Robert Baratheon successfully overthrows the Targaryens, he faces the difficult decision of choosing a wife. He could marry Cersei Lannister, a woman whose narcissism could power a small city and whose rumored incestuous relationship with her brother Jaime is as public as her tendency to look down on everyone around her. Or, he could marry Naerys Targaryen, the sweet and darling sister of Rhaegar.
Despite his often-portrayed foolishness, Robert knows marrying Cersei would be a catastrophe. Not only is her ego as inflated as her reputation, but Tywin Lannister, with his unrelenting quest to take credit for the rebellion, would soon turn Robert’s victory into a tainted mess. No amount of gold is worth letting that family corrupt the Baratheon name.

The King himself, burly and imposing even in his current state, had his wife, Cersei Lannister, draped over his horse, clutching their daughter Myrcella. Ser Barristan Selmy and Ser Jaime Lannister, the Kingslayer, rode alongside, each holding one of the royal sons. Ser Sandor Clegane struggled to keep his horse under control with Tyrion Lannister clinging precariously to the beast...

Summary
During the pandemic I had too much free time and I used it to create some worldbuilding for one of my favorite TV shows, Game of Thrones. I didn't publish it because I didn't want to. Then it was forgotten. Later House of the Dragon came out and I rewrote some parts of my worldbuilding to be accurate to the new show and I got new ideas. I continued writing it and it has become this. I don't know how original my idea is but I haven't really read much theories so I just want to hope it's original. But no matter, now I feel it's time to show it to the world...
Especially, because it has given me a sick idea: rewriting the story. I haven't started yet and I don't know when I will or if I will ever because I have a lot of other things to do, but if I start it, those little pieces of worldbuilding will be its background. -
