Summary
The mercenary Byleth has a secret: she doesn't feel any emotions in a normal way. Happiness, sadness, you name it. But she can pretend to do so, and does it better than anyone alive. And all of that has helped her to secretly be one of the best assassins Fódlan has ever seen - the Morrigan. But when she helps save a trio of students from bandits, one in particular catches her eye, and ignites her heart like no one else ever has before. With the help of the mysterious, sassy girl only she can see and hear, Byleth attempts learn what her feelings about Edelgard von Hresvelg mean, and how best to act on them, before problems with the mysterious Flame Emperor make time run out.
This is very different to my other work(s), in that I have not finished this one before posting. I don't necessarily expect to get to the end of the game, but I'm hoping to be writing this on and off between chapters of EFFXIV, which means updates will be irregular and unscheduled. Nevertheless, I hope y'all enjoy it!

This time when they awake, they're equipped with all the skills they've accumulated from their previous loops, but none of the memory of what went wrong. If the lack of memory wasn't enough, Byleth finds herself as a woman of Fodlan, with a newly acquired girlhood that conflicts with her past memories as a boy. Now she has to wrestle with her newfound identity and determine if she's going to commit to this timeline or find a way out. All the while the world adjust to her changes causing a small rift in the story she already could hardly remember. Can she overcome her indecisiveness or will she become a victim of her own perfectionism? Not even Sothis knows.
