Summary
Edric Blight, the youngest of the twin humans, is hiding something. He won't tell anyone what it is, but it's very obvious something's on his mind. What's even more obvious is that he's looking for any way to distract himself.
Hunter Wittebane has his own issues. His mother, Evelyn, has been ignoring him and his siblings for as long as he can remember, instead leaving his awful father to take the role. In order to connect to her, Hunter decided to join the Bonesborough Brawl, a city-wide duel competition his mother participated in and won. Despite that, Evelyn disapproves.
Once Hunter brings up his problem to his boyfriend, Edric immediately decides to help, but not only because he wants to help his boyfriend. It was the perfect way to distract himself from whatever feelings he's hiding.
Will Hunter win the Brawl with Edric's help and connect with Evelyn or will Edric's hidden feelings of dread get in the way of the task at hand?
