She had thought, all those years, that she was just crazy. The doctors explained so. Schizophrenia tends to runs in the families. She can’t run faster than that. But if it was only that, just bad hallucinations, why did Jason die at the end? He was just another lost kid in the same street she lived at. She still lives there. If it was just mommy’s illness, why did she feel him die in her own bones? Even worse: why did she feel him come back to life?
Or, Red Hood meets a probably neurotic woman obssesed with the idea she could have stopped his death. Jason Todd comes back to life and it feels like it alwats did in the begining: forceful, miserable, and confusing.

Dick Greyson can see ghosts. He has always been able to. After the death of Jason, he saw his ghost everywhere. But one day, 6 months later, he stopped seeing Jason. His little brother just flickered out of existence. Something about it just didn’t sit right with him. When ghost are about to pass on, they are usually very happy. But Jason wasn’t like that. Jason had been angry, and so sad. He had been trying to comfort his brother, nothing seemed to work.
Now he had to deal with the new crime lord that showed up in Gotham out of nowhere, and didn’t have the time nor energy to worry about Jason’s ghost. He could only hope that Jason had found peace in whatever afterlife existed.

Waking up back at the League of Assassins and in Talia's care hadn't been part of his plan. For the first time since regaining awareness after dying, he has no goal to strive towards. What he does have is a woman who cares about him and a little brother who needs his help.
Maybe, just maybe... that can be enough.

Damian pushed himself into a sitting position, only then realizing he was in a bed. There was a comfortable blanket over him, and a plush pillow where his head had been resting. Damian blinked, not exactly sure what to think. It would be much more helpful if he could remember who he was.
Damian attempted to draw something, ANYTHING from his mind, but it was impossibly blank.
Damian fisted up the fabric of his blanket, and idly noted how clean the white throw looked. Were blankets supposed to be that clean?
Damian searched his arms, finding many scars running along his skin. Why did he have so many scars? What could have possibly have given him so many cuts? That didn’t seem normal, did it? Did normal people his age have this many scars?
His age…what was his age? How old was he?
He…couldn't remember.
