The Year is 1934, one year after young Adolf Hitler become chancellor and Führer of Germany, the only country that still forbidden slavery but after the Great War, like almost ever country, it needs aid. The Führer, knowing they cannot survive this year without help, sends his closest man to the winners. Goebbels and Ribbentrop went to the USSR, while Himmler and Heydrich went to the United Kingdom seeking help. Eventually both will return with the promise of help, but Goebbels and Ribbentrop aren't going to bring only words.

A narrated playthrough of Germany in Darkest Hour. Starting with Hitler's appointment as Reichskanzler in January 1933, this AAR tracks Germany's diplomatic and rearmament efforts pre-war, leading into the war itself and the showdown with the Allies and, eventually, the Soviets.
Unlike most of my other AARs, this one was ad-hoc and had no specific objectives, I just wanted to play DH and decided to share my game. I do wind up testing how efficient giving every infantry division a medium armor support brigade is (the answer is "not"), but aside from that this is a mostly conventional WW2 setup.
Written some time in 2018, I think. Might've been December 2017.
