Remus didn’t have any expectations for his time at Hogwarts.
Going in with nothing more than a half baked plan of ‘avoid people’, enough imposter syndrome to have him questioning his sanity, and somehow high, Remus dived head first into hard concrete like the bravado induced imbecile he was.
Looking back, maybe he should’ve expected that; especially when things did not get any more predictable from there on then.
