No, it seems each Madrigal felt imperfect in some way, and the candle, or perhaps the candle holder, knew it... but how did Abuela Alma know these were the gifts meant for each child?
Isabela, feeling as if she would never be perfect enough for her family, given the gift of what is considered 'perfection' in nature.
