Rex never would have guessed he'd still be alive after being "Back to the futered". Now back in the original timeline, New problems start to sprout up in the Syatar System. His original gut feeling about the Plantimals start becoming true, as they begin to start going off the rails attacking the systarians and destroying parts of the systar system, Rex does his best to avoid these small menaces and work on his self assigned mission of embracing the new Rex.
When Wyld-Style/Lucy and friends begin to investigate the sudden hostility of the plantimals, Lucy also tasks herself with her restless search for her special best friend. A massive attack throws a wrench in both of their objectives.
