Despite knowing her life would've never gone any other way, sometimes Clara looks at the man siting in front of her across the table and wonders if it is really that different from how she was living before. If she's any more free to take decisions than she was when her parents were watching her every step. Bill is older, wiser, richer, has an already established reputation around the town, she had no reason not to be happy with the idea of marrying him. And maybe the kid would've been a deal breaker for other women, but Clara couldn't help but feel drawn to him as well.
Michael Afton is not her son, but Michael Afton also doesn't have a mom. Has never had one, if the things Bill says about raising him are true.
When Clara met him, she looked everywhere for that boy described in Bill's anecdotes. That rude, impertinent boy that was oh so hard to raise. But all she saw in him was a child that desperately needed a mother, and she might not be his mom, but she knows a thing or two about feeling unwanted.

Jenny had always been a hardworking woman. As an orphan, she had to fend for herself from a young age and had learned to push herself to the limit in order to survive. Her determination and dedication led her to become a successful businesswoman, but it also took a toll on her health.
One day, while working late into the night, Jenny collapsed from exhaustion. She was rushed to the hospital, but it was too late. Jenny had passed away from overworking. However, her story did not end there.
Jenny woke up in a strange and unfamiliar place. She soon realized that she had been reborn into the world of Five Nights at Freddy's. But what shocked her the most was that she was now in the body of Mrs. Afton, the wife of William Afton and the mother of his soon to be three children.
As Jenny navigated through her new reality, she learned that William Afton was the notorious killer known as the Purple Guy, responsible for the murders of numerous children at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. She also discovered that when she came to this world, she was pregnant with the first Afton child, Michael, and that the events of the game had not started yet and were about to unfold.
