Lance knew falling in love in a galactic century war was insanely stupid no matter how much he wanted to. Yet, one look at Keith's sleeping face under the shitty glow-in-the-dark stickers he has on the ceiling of his room makes his resolve disappear. He can’t help but bury his face further in the crook of Keith’s neck and think that maybe…he can- “Paladins to your lions! Galra fleets are approaching!” right…it’s better not to hope. -

A blurry clip plays of the motorbike revving away from the lab, kicking up desert dust. You can clearly make out Lance’s high-pitched yelp when it accelerates. “These are the last known whereabouts of the three missing teenagers.” It cuts back to the reporter, face grim and heavy with tragedy. This time Keith’s mugshot is next to them. “While it’s not confirmed Kogane is involved, police have confirmed he is a person of interest. He is considered armed and dangerous, and the Garrison urges you to steer clear, and report it, if you see him.”
Six years into the war against the Galra, and after a major win, Allura and Shiro agree the team deserve some time off. The plan is simple: a month on Earth, to reunite with their families, and spend the time relaxing and soaking up all the comforts of home. Keith-- ignoring the pitying eyes of the team-- assumes there's no one waiting for him. Unfortunately for everyone, he's wrong.

Ever since Lance was a little kid he was always moving at a constant speed. Applying for the Galaxy Garrison was very much an extension of that. Living in space was no different. If anything that just made his need of constant pace more prevalent. With finally destroying the Empire and liberating all those planets Lance thought he could feel content with acting and feeling like nothing changed when they checked out of the hospital after that final battle.
But Lance was very much wrong.

If they started now, they might actually be done by the time Lance came back. It was perfect and Hunk was a little shocked that Keith was the one to devise the plan.

[Insert clever summary where I basically rub in the fact that I plan to write a better version of Voltron and keep track of the lore better than the show did since Season 8 failed us miserably about 2 years ago]
It's the Year 20XX. Midoriya Izuku and his piloting team from the Galaxy Garrison Academy get caught up in something so much bigger than themselves. Quite literally with the massive, sentient, robotic lion with a mostly black paint job that loves to growl in Izuku's head. So now, since the Lions of Voltron chose them to be their Paladin Pilots, for some mysterious reason, the fate of the entire universe rests on these teenagers' shoulders.
Yeah, they can understand why you'd be concerned. They are too.
