Their journey begins after befriending a shiny Eevee that they nickname Swift, and after arriving at the outskirts of Viridian Forest. THAT'S WHEN...

And stuck itself upon their wrist with secrets that it hid...
Now they've got super powers, they're no ordinary kid...They're no ordinary kid.
And now that they think about it, their Eevee isn't an ordinary Eevee, either. Probably because she's shiny. Yeah, that's all that's special about her. Totally.

Oh and he ends up living with his alternate self and his family, who happen to be vampires, as in the kind from Hellsing and just so happen to be related to Alucard. Who happen to live in Brockton Bay, from the Parahumans series. YAY!

Before Polly turns into the new locket bearer, she found a mysterious alien watch called the Omnitrix, a powerful device that allows her to turn into ten different aliens with a simple touch - each with their own awesome power! Through crafter, very confident in herself,ringleader, instigator, charisma and great passion for her many plans, she uses the Omnitrix to stop evil, but that doesn't stop her from using it for her own personal needs.

Forced to use Alien X's powers to recreate the universe, the seventeen-year-old Ben Tennyson makes a catastrophic mistake:
He lets his feelings get the better of him. As a result, he wakes up in a universe where almost nothing is as he remembers it, and as time goes by, he may find himself forced to choose between what he knows, and this strange, yet pleasant universe where nobody is where they should be.
The only problem is, he doesn't have the Omnitrix.
...yet. Because as Ben quickly discovers, even though he's seventeen and, broadly speaking, friends with Gwen, it seems the universe is right back at the beginning of that fateful road trip.
Who knows, a reboot might be fun.

Ben Tennyson has wanted to be a superhero ever since his Enhanced best friend, Kevin Levin, was taken in as a toddler by his grandfather - ever mysterious father figure and retired government agent - Max. Shortly after the Chitauri invasion, Ben receives terrible news; his grandfather has disappeared and been declared dead. Max leaves Kevin his beloved RV, within which a distraught Ben finds the key to his own inheritance: a strange, alien device called the Omnitrix, which grants him his wish of becoming a hero by allowing him to turn into ten different alien species, all with their respective quirks and powers.
As the chosen wielder of the Omnitrix, Ben must now figure out his way through the ups and downs of being an alien-themed teenage superhero, in a world that is only just recuperating from an alien invasion, all while figuring out the mystery of his grandfather’s alleged death, mastering the quirks of the watch, and balancing his separate lives.

Summary
Ben notices the Omnitrix acting up again. At first he thinks nothing of it and guesses that it'll pass soon. That is until later on that day, while Gwen, Amy and Ben are busy making lunch, the Omnitrix's begins flashing green, startling Amy, Gwen and Ben. The Omnitrix then cycles through all of Ben's aliens before dumping the ten alien DNA pods into his body. Now Gwen and Amy have to keep Grandpa Max from finding out and keep Ben and his aliens out of trouble.
