“I thought people liked wine.” Glumly, Clary took another swig, then scowled at the bottle. “Like there’s whole clubs dedicated to this stuff.”
When she passed it to Izzy, the other took a big swig herself, pulling the bottle from her lips and offering Clazy a brazenly smug smile. “Not thirteen dollar bodega merlot, Clary. This is bottom shelf stuff.”
“Eugh. Why do you have it, then?”
“What are you thinking about right now?” Izzy’s eyes flashed with amusement.
“How disgusting this is.”
“Good girl.” Maybe it was the wine that made Clary feel warm. “And who are you not thinking about right now?”
