So when Eleonor heard tell of his fall from grace, she couldn't help but seek him out. Her motivation unclear at first but once she set her mind to something, there wasn't much that could pry her away from it.

Author’s Note: Back with the second installment. Fun fact: the actual “Gunpowder Plot” was a people’s rebellion in which the Roman Catholics in England intended to overthrow the House of Parliament by blowing it up and assassinating King James I of England back in 1605, led by Guy Fawkes.
In this regard, it’s a similar plot line, but rather than trying to depose Parliament and King James I, our favorite pirates try to rise up and overthrow Lord Cutler Beckett and his ilk with the East India Trading Company so pirates can rule the seas once more.
