Summary
The morning after their first night together, Sherlock takes stock of his and John Watson's relationship and decides it is time to lay the groundwork for a long-term commitment to John. Sherlock does it in his own inimitable fashion: with subterfuge and calculation. He tracks down Maj. James Sholto, John's former commanding officer who looks at John with such naked longing that Sherlock decides he must confront his rival once and for all. What he learns next will change everything.
