Summary
I never liked Steve “The Hair” Harrington but I never really disliked him either.
Considering how popular he was, he never seemed all that terrible. Generally The Hair was a pretty safe popular kid to approach as he preferred giving the cold shoulder rather than being explicitly malicious.
Eddie Munson was a different story.
I knew who he was because he was a freak. The Freak. Long hair, rings, metal music that followed him everywhere, and wild eyes that dared you to get close, just to see what happened. And a black handkerchief in his left pocket.
Two diametrically opposing personalities that, as far as I know, had absolutely nothing in common. Until I saw Steve Harrington with a handkerchief hanging out of his right pocket.
None of the weird shit in Hawkins had prepared me for this.
