"That's not the way of the Jedi." Anakin retorted. And truly, weren't the Jedi correct in the end? His heart had led him to ruin.
“The way of the Jedi has been lost for many centuries,” Obi-Wan's curled lip belied his true thoughts on the matter.

This is a story in which Obi-Wan Kenobi is only three years older than Anakin Skywalker.
In this story, Obi-Wan is destined to be a Jedi, but spends his early life as a slave, not joining the Order until age 12.
He is raised by Anakin’s parents in the desert sands of Tatooine.
He is a padawan first to Dooku, then to Qui-Gon Jinn.
He becomes a Jedi Knight, Jedi Master, and a general, all by age 22.

Summary
After Order 66 is initiated, Padme, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, and Sabe flee the Empire and find themselves on Tatooine. Quickly, they become wrapped up in a blossoming rebellion led by a mother and son. It doesn't take Qui-Gon long to realize that the son, a man called Anakin, has power unlike any Jedi he had ever met.

However, that didn't stop Anakin from racing in the Boonta Eve Classic. However, the lack of Qui-Gon Jinn left Anakin to being sold to Jabba the Hutt.
Ten years later and the Jedi finally notice the Force signature on Tatooine and with a certain former Queen of Naboo along with two Jedi Knights they will discover at long last the Chosen One.
Only for said former Queen of Naboo having to deal with a Slave Girl.
