The young man stared at him, shocked.
"You... don't you remember me?" he asked, finding it simply inconceivable.
And Lance, in other circumstances, would have been amused by that reaction, but there was a little girl he had to bring back to her mother; he hadn't slept for almost twenty-seven hours and needed a break.
"No, dude, now if you want to excuse me..."
The boy turned Lance to him, their faces a short distance away, purple eyes fixed on his, and Lance's treacherous heart skipped a beat.
"Blue Spirit, I'm Red Warrior. Do you really not remember me?"
At that point, Lance began to break out in a cold sweat. Of course, he couldn't remember him. Lance wasn't the real one.
(In which, due to a stupid stunt, the seventeen-year-old Lance dies and finds himself in the body of a villain of his best friend's favourite graphic novel, trying not to attract too much attention. Too bad for Lance, Keith doesn't make things easy for him at all.)

What if honerva wasn't corrupted by the quintessence?
After securely hiding the blue lion on earth, honerva along with Keith's Dad raise the future Red paladin. The same night that Krolia leaves a star falls revealing a star fairy, who happens to be Keith's soulmate. After his father's death when he was six, Keith and Katie, the future red and green Paladins, are brought up by their aunt honerva.
A few years go by, Keith and Katie never went to the galaxy Garrison for fear of Keith's galran side being discovered. Now exactly one year after the supposed pilot error on the Kerberos Mission. keith and Katie along with honerva suspect that zarkon and the galra empire have something to do with the missing pilots.
Their theory is confirmed when one of the pilots crashes down to earth, screaming about the galra and Voltron. The three waste no time in taking action. But what the three weren't expecting was a bunch of Garrison officers chasing them, two garrison cadets and the pilots ex joining them. All while Keith is in galra form and Katie actively using her magic.
How will these changes, change the outcome of the war?

Cue a meet-cute with our favourite dork.He wasn’t angry at her, not really. He was furious at everything: at the space where his mother used to be, at the father who never showed, at the universe for handing him a baby he wasn’t ready for.
But Kira didn’t know any of that.
She just knew her big brother had raised his voice. Keith closed his eyes and inhaled shakily through his nose.
“Okay.” He forced the breath out slowly. “Okay, we’re not doing that again. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”
Kira’s cries softened into hiccups. Keith tucked her against his chest, her cheek hot and wet against his skin. She was so small. Too small for his anger. Too small for any of this.
He started rocking, slowly at first, then in a steady rhythm.
The chair creaked. The room swam in dim moonlight.
“Please, Kira,” he whispered, voice cracking. “Just… help me out, okay? I’m trying. I’m really trying.”
