Summary
It's been awhile since Falstaff. For Max, Ephraim, and Newt, Kent and Scoutmaster Tim's wretched, untimely deaths are slow-healing wounds.
There's no way Shelley could be uninfected after drowning Kent. Max Kirkwood knows this. He knows there's something bad coming-- and that he's going to have to face some long dormant feelings in order to get to the bottom of it. He also knows that at the Sleepy Hollow correctional center, Shelley has grown into a monster much worse than he could have ever imagined-- and he's not sure he has what it takes to protect his friends when that monster breaks loose.
