Summary
The cold air of Mirraven bit into Kiva's skin like a starving wolf not wanting to let go of it's prey.
Dressed up in fine silks and pearls, she had nothing to shield her form the cold but maybe dying of hypothermia was better than whatever Zadria or King Navok had in store for her.
Then again, maybe she would survive the cold, she had proved her heart was nothing but a clump of ice as she had lied to Jaren and his family, had put Tipp in danger and given Zuleeka everything she needed to take over Evalon.
And though Kiva thought she deserved whatever came to her, it seemed a certain prince, though a dethroned one, was hellbend on exacting his vengeance and reclaiming his throne.

What if events that unfolded in the "The Blood Traitor" were a little different? What if Kiva never went to that mountain with Jaren that day? What if Kiva succeeded in avoiding Jaren at every twist and turn until it could've been too late?
[Please note that this work might most likely have a lot of mentions of suicidal thoughts and sexual assault as well. I really apologise for including these things and making Kiva suffer more when she already dealt with enough pain for a lifetime but i just wanted to make the ending a bit more realistic.]
