Summary
It's not funny— it's absolutely not funny. In fact, it's kind of a predicament, and if you ask Prompto if he's secretly, quietly, internally laughing about the situation, he would tell you no, of course not! With a possibly even telltale squeak to his voice. Because the entire situation is less than favorable and very dangerous.
But with a gun held to his head (and he had a couple of those to borrow) and asked again, Prompto would maybe, possibly admit that there was a small amount of humor in scooping up Cor Leonis, servant to three kings and Marshal of the Crownsguard, and putting his tiny, disgruntled frog body in an old instant noodle cup.

Summary
"Who's taking the plunge?" Prompto manages to gasp out between laughs, and Noct begins squirming. Prompto holds him fast, though, careful not to squeeze him, and lifts him up so Noct's bulging - but still royal blue - eyes are level with his own. Even though he can't speak, it's obvious it's still Noct in there, that's he aware and thinking like he normally does, and he looks almost fearful.
Iggy rolls his eyes. "It's a medicine, not a -"
"C'mon, Iggy," Prompto says, holding Noct out to him. "You can't tell me you don't wanna take the opportunity. Kissing a frog and having him turn into a prince, just like a fairytale?"
or: Noct gets turned into a toad, and the boys don't miss a chance to make fun of him.
