Summary
A rewrite of the crossover between Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario. Paper Jam Recut utilizes more unique content from both series, as well as put the focus on the characters as much as possible. There are also new plot threads only possible with the added content, as well as other changes made to prepare for the future.
While this isn't an actual playable game (...because the Big N REALLLLY hates those...), some differences in gameplay are still described to try and bridge the gap.
As a further effort in fully helping realize the experience, edited images are included in this fanstory rewrite, newly remade for this. With this actually being a 2025 repost, some of the rougher edges from the 2016 and 2017(?) reuploads- storywise and visualwise- are being been smoothed over and addressed as best as possible.
As a heads-up, PJ Recut 2025 is also being posted elsewhere (where I am known as DerekminyA), but I was recommended this site on a Discord server, too. It's also good to give the story 2 homes, just in case something happens to one of them.

Bowser can't see Kammy's eyes past those ridiculous specs of hers, but he is positive that her wrinkly Koopa skin shifts about as if she just rolled her eyes. Even Kamek had better manners. "Well Lord Bowser, would it suit your fancy if we install more spiked bombs for Mario to throw you into?"
Oh the mouth on that hag! You hoist yourself by your own petard one time and she never lets you move past it. "Listen, those spiked bombs looked really cool when I ordered them for my Dark World lair! How was I supposed to know Mario was strong enough to lift me by the tail and throw me around?"
Kammy holds her mean gaze. "That's all well and good but about at the Fire Sea, my lord? Or mayhaps the Sky World! You installed spiked bombs there too!"
