Fade has angered Nightmare, not a good thing. She hasn't been on a mission in a while, so she hasn't let Nightmare out in a while. Nightmare told Fade repeatedly to let it give others nightmares, she didn't let it, and so, it gave her a really bad migraine, body aches, and exhaustion. She knew what it wanted; it wanted her to fall asleep so it could give her nightmares, and maybe some others too. She won't let it have that, and so, she allowed the pain to happen until painkillers kicked in, not sleeping, and just waiting for another mission.

Summary
Veto being a radivore (at least partially) isn't fun all the time. Actually, most of the time. His left arm with the radivore mutation always feels weird and whenever he lets the radivore mutation cover his body temporarily, it hurts. Like being punched everywhere on his body at the same time constantly until he makes the blue mutation go back to his left arm. Although, even after he does that, the pain lingers for a little while, a little less intense.
