There is no explanation for his bouts of nausea and the unbearable pain in his lower stomach, the sensitivity of his chest. The outcome he gets from this union is rather different than what anyone expected.
Tldr: The people of Westerosi have no idea how genetics work, and it kind of ruins Otto’s long-term plans for world domination when the children of Luke and Aemond are born looking more Velaryon than anyone expected.
