A dark, stormy night.
Waves slammed against the sides of a lone boat, slicing through the Atlantic just off the coast of Long Island. Rain blurred the sky and sea into one restless gray mass.A kid — not quite eighteen yet — steadied the tiller, his sea-green eyes scanning the surf. He shouldn’t have been out here alone, but solo rides were sort of his thing.
That’s when he saw it.
A body, drifting. Facedown. Lifeless.
Human. Shot. Still breathing.With a sigh — equal parts exasperation and dread — he dove in.
Moments later, he hauled the man aboard. Soaking wet. Two bullet wounds in the back. No wallet. No ID. Nothing.
Well — almost nothing.
A faint red light blinked under the skin near the man’s hip. The kid hesitated, then pressed it.
A number flickered to life.
A Swiss bank account. Just that. No name. No context.Jason Bourne had just re-entered the world.

Summary
My take on what Kirill does in his 'one month off'....he takes a flight to Paris on a whim and meets a girl. She's perfect, really. They fall in love and it's roses and the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. And then Gretkov's right hand man comes knocking on the door. Follows the events of 'Bourne Supremacy.'
Eventual smut. Kirill is charming :)
