Summary
Steve spends the weekend with Dustin in Chicago, taking him to a science conference. On the way back home, Steve gets knocked unconscious, and wakes up to discover that he has been kidnapped by two scientists who plan on using him as a human lab rat for their experiments.

Summary
It has been two months since the ‘earthquake’ destroyed Hawkins. They managed to stop Vecna, and kill the monsters running rampant in their town. The town is rebuilding. Max is still comatose, and her friends are still clinging to hope that she might one day wake up. Eleven has been going into Max’s mind repeatedly, with little success.
Unbeknownst to the rest of the group, Eddie is still alive – and he’s trapped in the Upside Down with Max. Eddie is changing, evolving. And though neither of them understand what’s happened, or why they are both trapped down there, they try to make the best of the dire situation. Unable to find a way home, they fear that they will be stuck in the hellscape forever. That is, until a strange blue door appears.
