Maybe he’ll learn to trust Otabek.The constant media scrutiny takes a heavy toll on Yuri. Despite his fading fame, devoted fans still closely follow his every move. As a result, he must also endure Otabek, the annoying bodyguard responsible for keeping him safe.

“Otabek Altin is known for his reputation not for nothing, Vitya.” No, definitely not behaviour of a personal assistant.
Victor Nikiforov nods.
“He’s out of jail this morning, so he probably is out of touch with the latest developments in the Bratva. I don’t like having to withhold the information from him but his long absence in the game is precisely why I hired him.”

This fic is the impulsive result of me reading one of the best fanfics I have ever read ever. The events of this fic occur after the events of Ring-Fingered Men by Helico_pter.
I would highly recommend reading that first. It is insanely good.

It was exhilarating, feeling the wind whip his blazer and his hair fly free from its stuffy ponytail. He could feel his status slip away, the need to be upstanding depart, and the confused adult becomes a clear minded dreamer.
