Eddie gently grabs Bucks wrist, stopping him from pushing into the booth after Karen and Ravi, sliding in himself before finally motioning for Buck to sit in the free space.
Buck does so, but not before tilting his head in question, a vaguely amused smile resting on his lips. "What was that about?"
"You can stretch your bad knee out of the booth like this," Eddie explains, like Bucks heart isn't trying to beat its way out of his chest, like it's not trying curl up in Eddies lap like a satisfied cat in a patch of afternoon sunlight. "So you're not uncomfortable all night."
"Oh. Uh, thanks—thank you." Buck stammers.
