Kiril meets the man he‘s been watching since 1948, and his husband.
Steve falls in love with another victim of Hydra. Bucky becomes a dad.
Kiril finds out what normal kid-things are and turns to chess and murder mysteries in 16 languages. Protective Stevie picks fights with teachers. Bucky uses his therapy skills. Kiril is clueless.

Bucky ran into his ghosts all the time.
They crept up on him in his nightmares, oh yes, but the faces of mere passersby would become his victims. Simply walking along the street, trying to get some fresh air, would be a cause for anxiety, a chance for the trauma to bubble up again. The list of his crimes went on and on. It was even scarier because now, people seemed to love him. His victims would walk right up to him and thank him for his service, and he would fight the need to flee the hallucination.
The faces of people he’d taken the lives of would never leave him alone. He knew that.
But Bucky had never literally run into a ghost of his before.
Taking place six months after the first season of The Falcon and Winter Soldier, Bucky decides to cross another name off of his list when it bumps into him at shoulder-height on a busy New York sidewalk. The chaos that ensues risks his life and the life of the teenager hellbent on evading his 'amends' over and over as he tries to protect the unwilling, hating, snarky kid now under his protection. There's a tail on their backs, and the target isn't Bucky this time - Quin is the one in danger, and Quin has a secret.
