Summary
Cross had recently gotten a new job working at a restaurant called Wisteria. It was a tiny little place, actually, usually only most active at dawn or dusk.
Though, unusually, there was always a patron who came as soon as the open sign was turned on. Cross had grown very interested in him actually.. yet he was always so quiet and to himself, perhaps reading or looking out the window while he ate a muffin and drank coffee.
He only ever saw him in the morning. Cross had even developed a tiny.. crush on him of sorts. Who was this guy?

Summary
In a world of gods and guardians, it would be expected that some would fall for mortals, and inevitable in such cases that demigods would result.
Killer and Cross are two such beings, half god and half mortal. With abilities mortals shouldn't have, but also not quite as durable as full deities, they reside somewhere in the middle, and unfortunately certain people would take advantage of that. Without parents around who would protect them, they must fend for themselves as they run to escape the prison they were trapped in, and this was how they ended up inside a tentacled skeleton's mansion without knowing what they were getting into. While the brothers now must figure out who they can trust, Nightmare and his friends have to discover these two teenagers' past before what or whoever they are running from finds and drags them back into their personal hell.
Hopefully these two can warm up to the guardians and gods despite what they've been told...
