Akutagawa pulls against his restraints with all his strength. He won’t let them lay a finger on Atsushi.
“No,” he growls. “He doesn’t know anything.”
Atsushi looks over to Akutagawa, his expression far too soft and fond for the seriousness of their situation.
“It’s fine,” he says gently. “I’ll heal, so better me than you.”
“Not with that collar suppressing your ability, you won’t!”
Atsushi pauses, as if that reality hadn’t hit him until just now. Akutagawa wants to smack him — too busy making a noble sacrifice to use his brain for even a moment. Utterly typical.
But after a moment’s consideration, Atsushi simply shrugs.
“Still better me than you, though.”

Summary
This was a side of Ango that Oda alone had permission to see. To someone so guarded, so wholly untrusting of the world at large because of how much that world had hurt him—Oda swallowed back a sudden tightness in his throat at the absolute trust that Ango had put in him.
"...What are you staring at?" Ango finally said, voice playing at a soft, mock annoyance. Oda couldn't help smiling before leaning forward to give him a peck on the nose, making his face scrunch up endearingly.
"You."
"You're so corny I can't stand you sometimes," Ango huffed, but his lips turning upwards indicated otherwise.
"Good thing you can most of the time," Oda reached up to brush a piece of hair out of Ango's eyes, watching as he looked to the side bashfully.
He was breathtaking.

Summary
Chuuya Nakahara no longer remembers the time before the port mafia; his world consisted of blaring lights, white walls, and the sharp, cruel tools that were used to modify his soul, his entire being. He was no longer a person, he never felt human, diminished to nothing but a lab rat.
However, although his body had been pricked and sliced without warning; tortured and studied like some rabid beast, nothing made him feel more disgustingly human than that strange boy with the bandages. Whenever he caught a glimpse of him his emotions flared in all the wrong ways; he had been programmed to be an obedient and unfeeling weapon, but the boy always knew how to get on his nerves. Mocking and insulting him for no reason at all; completely unprovoked.
He'd definitely have to pay one day. As soon as he was free.
P.S This is SLOW burn so don't expect any smut til chapter 5-ISH.

This in itself wasn’t a huge problem considering he now knew Dazai was pretty much the only human on earth he actually wanted to be married to...it was the whole...maneuvering such a thing. It was one thing to get wasted and fall into bed with him every couple months, but now...he couldn’t just disappear after.
