Summary
Finrod Felagund was reembodied shortly after his death and is welcomed by his parents and Amarië. His joy is quickly dampened when fragments of memories of a mysterious woman start to haunt him. Amarië, sensing that Finrod has changed, is confronted with her love for him, and once it is revealed that his heart belongs to a stranger across the sea, she is determined to be by his side and be a pillar of strength.
It would be far easier if Finrod were not constantly worried about hurting her whenever this mysterious woman is brought up.

Starswirl and Celestia use the mirrot to travel to an alternate Equestria, where villains are good and vice versa. Although sparks fly between Celestia and that Equestria's King Sombra, her attention is stolen by someone she misses dearly, and whose banishment is still a sore wound: her sister's counterpart. With Luna being Nightmare Moon, this world's Luna is happy and free.
And perhaps she can manage to comfort a grieving sister.

Summary
This series is about on of my favourite Elves, Finrod Felagund, and the unconventional family he has with Kazaheril, the Dark Sorceress of Angband and Sauron's protegée.
Kazaheril is a Naryii, an original race of mine which lives on the island of Sheiye, which lies in the East Sea. Their skin is mauve taupe coloured and their hair is mainly black. A special feature are their long, flexible ears, which communicate the Naryii's mood. The Naryii awoke a few years after the Elves and a small group migrated to the mainland, landing in Hildorien and eventually they met the Elves of Cuivienen.
Kazaheril is a descendant of that group. She was born when the Elder had left for Valinor, and spent her childhood as a slave in Angband. When she was a teenager, Sauron made her his protegée and under his tutelage, she grew into a powerful sorceress of darkness.
A character which will show up from time to time is Larylieth, their daughter. She was left with Finrod to grow up in Nargothrond and grew into adulthood in the heavens under Cirdan's care when Nargothrond fell.

Xie Lian patiently stood in line at the bakery while the person in front of him ordered, still deciding on what he should get. While he usually got the double fudge brownie, perhaps it was a day to try new things. It looked like the cinnamon rolls were popular, as there was only one left in the case by the time it was his turn to order. Decision made, he walked up to the barista.
“Hi! Can I get the cinnamon roll to go please?”
He barely finished ordering before he heard a low sigh of disappointment behind him.

His eyelashes cast the faintest of shadows over his cheeks, his breath coming and going peacefully through parted lips. A moment’s glance fills Sherlock with affection enough to suffocate; swallowing, he leans forward to press a kiss to William’s hair. Certainly he wouldn’t be so bold if William were awake.
