Summary
There are some things in life that are true no matter what. One is that a mother will do literally anything to protect her children and another one is "beware of the quiet ones."
When her idiot husband suddenly crowns Lyanna Stark during the tourney at Harrenhal instead of her in front of everyone to see, Princess Elia can already see the writing on the wall and immediately starts making several preparations to protect herself and her children as Rhaegar has shown he is not to be trusted.
Using some old items and abilities to escape King's Landing the night before it gets sacked by Tywin's forces with a bit of help from Ashara, Elia quickly flees back to Dorne with Rhaenys and Aegon where her brothers take her in and help her raise her children and prepare to get revenge on those who tried to harm her.
As she carefully raises her children as well as a retrieved Viserys and Daenerys in secret and tries to keep them all safe from those wishing them harm, Elia swears that they will get their home back, but that they have to be very careful not to get caught as she is determined to survive the Game
She had already died young once before. She refuses to let it happen again

Summary
In one universe, Rhaegar Targaryen threw all of Westeros into war by running off with Lyanna Stark, regardless of the consequences it would bring, even if it eventually costs his own life as well as the lives of almost his entire family, including the wife and children he was supposed to love and protect.
In this universe, Rhaegar actually has a brain and knows that going after a woman betrothed to another lord while already married himself while most of the realm already dislikes your family because of your mad father is basically suicide, so he instead does what he's supposed to do:
He stays with his wife and children and loves them, protects his mother from his father's madness and prepares to be a better king than the ones before him, but what happens when an ancient threat from the North starts making itself known and will he be able to protect those he loves from it?

very good, the pace is a bit rushed/summarized, but not to the point of being bad or strange, a beautiful story that leaves that taste of 'I want more' in your mouth!

It's not my favorite, the pace is too fast for my taste and the story is very summarized in my opinion, and in my view, the romance doesn't have much development either BUT it's a good silly story to read when you're bored or just in your free time.
I would give it a 6/10 I think lol
