Summary
Nodding to each other, as soon as the door was fully open and the lights were turned on, they moved to jump out their chosen hiding spot as if on cue. None of the brothers were ever going to expect this.
“HEY GUYS!”
All five brothers startled, looking up. Finding an exuberant, grinning Poppy and Viva standing there, on the other side of Branch’s bed, and looking at them as if they had meant to do that (they still did, but they didn’t want to explain things to them. Not quite yet at least). A brief, but at the same time long silence filled the room as the brothers all looked at one another.
Or: Poppy and Viva decide to pull a little prank on the brothers. It goes almost according to plan.
