Summary
“Battery. Battery, uh—holding-thingy. Wiring was bad. Container blew up when I took the battery out. S’not the battery. No electric–electro—shut-down-everything bomb. Battery’s okay.” There’s another rustle, the sound of pockets being patted, and a sigh of relief. “Kinda smushed, but okay.”
“Are you okay?” Christ, did he think he meant the damage to the battery? He’s got contingencies if they aren’t able to take it, plans to make sure it ends up out of Advantage’s hands even if all they end up with are blueprints and schematics. The con is plenty salvageable without the battery he sent him to steal. The team sure as hell won’t be if Jack dies from a brain bleed or a bomb.
“M’fine. Blew up.”
“He has a concussion,” Daniel says flatly, and Dylan sighs, scrubbing a hand across his face. He’s starting to put that together himself.
“Do not,” Jack says, perfectly indignant. “The—it blew up. And it pushed me. Into the wall.”
...
Jack gets a concussion when a heist goes wrong. Dylan thinks he's getting a headache, too. Everyone else is just along for the ride.

Summary
Bosco would like to make an amendment to the saying "never meet your heroes." He thinks, frankly, that the better version of it would be "meet your heroes, on occasion, so that you can relentlessly mock them when they turn out to be assholes."
…
Bosco has the dubious pleasure of sitting in on a classic Horsemen argument over a silly prank that may or may not get Merritt tossed off a balcony. Jury’s still out.

Summary
"Alright", he says. "You go first".
Charles hesitates for a moment; rethinks whether or not he's finally making that one mistake that ends him for good. The words tumble out of his mouth almost without permission. "My name is Charles".
The man's smile gets even wider, eyes boring into his. Charles feels a shiver run down his spine. "Pleased to meet you, Charles. I'm Carlos".
