If Phainon were well, perhaps he would have heard Hyacine’s cry of frustration from outside of the window that he’d dropped out of. Instead, his stuffed up head only served to block it out. Using the tree beside his bedroom window, he’d hoped Ica would buy him enough time to climb down. Luckily for him, he managed to slip away undetected, walking around to the back of his home and into a shed.

When Phainon is sick, he rarely stays home even if he probably should. After spending all day avoiding treatment from Hyacine, he'll go home and have a good rest. Afterall, there's no law saying he *can't* work until he drops. What's the worst that could happen?
